Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the deployment of multi-layered security controls across hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Lead internal security audits, penetration testing initiatives, and vulnerability remediation programs.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Execute incident response protocols and forensic analysis during critical security events.
- Maintain compliance posture across SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR frameworks.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to the evolution of the organization’s threat intelligence capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a senior architecture role.
- Deep expertise in Cloud Security (AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, or Azure Sentinel).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Datadog) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Current certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go for automation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex security risks to non-technical executive stakeholders.
