Sentinel Dynamics is seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite defense-focused engineering team in Arlington. As we scale our zero-trust infrastructure, you will lead the design and implementation of next-generation security frameworks to protect critical data assets. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust zero-trust security architectures for hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive security architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation strategies for complex enterprise systems.
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, compliance standards, and incident response protocols.
- Mentor junior security engineers and provide thought leadership on emerging security technologies.
- Lead security response efforts for high-priority incidents and conduct post-mortem forensic analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or information security engineering.
- Deep expertise in Cloud Security (AWS/Azure) and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Proven experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC2.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and the ability to articulate complex security risks to executive stakeholders.
