Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and cyber attacks
- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity policies and compliance frameworks
- Lead cross-agency threat intelligence sharing initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing programs
- Coordinate incident response during national security emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks and FedRAMP compliance
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architectures
