Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Lead and manage incident response plans during security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Implement and enforce robust security policies and access controls across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on incident response or threat hunting.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CRISC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security principles (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and security tooling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
