Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-value portfolio, monitoring profitability, loss ratios, and premium volume targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key brokers and agency partners to drive business development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines underwriting (Property & Casualty preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO forms, rating plans, and state-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing a profitable book of business and meeting growth KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation or progress towards completion is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-leading underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
