Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms
- Lead migration strategies for legacy systems to cloud-native environments
- Define security frameworks, compliance protocols, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and executive leadership
- Mentor cloud engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years in cloud architecture
- AWS/Azure/GCP certified solutions architect (professional level)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Strong background in cloud security (CIS benchmarks, IAM, encryption)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts
