Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Lead the organization-wide implementation of Zero Trust principles and Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices.
- Engineer automated security controls and compliance auditing tools using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi).
- Conduct comprehensive threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for complex distributed systems.
- Orchestrate high-level incident response strategies and conduct forensic analysis of security events.
- Partner with DevOps teams to integrate advanced security tooling into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Mentor senior engineering staff on secure coding practices and architectural threat mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud-native environments.
- Holding top-tier certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Proven expertise in container security, specifically with Kubernetes (K8s) and service mesh technologies like Istio.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for developing security automation tools.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including SOC2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex security risks to executive stakeholders.
