Are you passionate about modernizing public sector digital infrastructure? The Department of Technology and Innovation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our mission-critical migration to secure, scalable cloud environments.

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure government clouds.
- Lead migration strategies for legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Implement robust security protocols, including FedRAMP compliance and Zero Trust network access.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with policy makers to align technical roadmaps with agency goals.
- Optimize cloud spending to ensure cost-efficiency and budget accountability for taxpayer funds.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment of mission-critical public applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure Government cloud environments.
- Proven track record with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity standards (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
