Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Architect robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity across multiple environments.
- Lead migration projects from legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Drive security-first initiatives by implementing IAM best practices and network segmentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and peer code review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EKS, RDS, S3) and GCP equivalents.
- Strong scripting skills in Go, Python, or Bash for automation purposes.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing), and security standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues in high-traffic environments.
