Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS/Azure with CI/CD automation
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead Kubernetes and container orchestration initiatives for microservices
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits for cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and SRE practices
- Expert certification in AWS/Azure (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Strong background in cloud security (IAM, VPC design, encryption)
- Demonstrated success in optimizing cloud spend and performance metrics
