Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-velocity deployments.
- Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts for complex production incidents.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for cloud-native best practices across the organization.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to drive cost-efficiency without compromising performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM).
- Deep hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
- Strong background in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
