Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Lead the migration and optimization of containerized microservices within Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Automate manual operational tasks through advanced Python and Go scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to improve CI/CD pipeline velocity and reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive incident analysis and post-mortems to drive system improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in cloud security and performance tuning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability, or systems engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration workflows.
- Proficiency in programming with Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
