Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and reliability.
- Optimize system performance, cost-efficiency, and security across all environments.
- Lead incident response protocols and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complex outages.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices architectures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or GCP cloud services and resource management.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container security.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go for automation tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
