Responsibilities
- Design and manage multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Lead the automation of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and environment consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud service costs.
- Implement and oversee rigorous security protocols, identity management, and compliance standards.
- Maintain system reliability by participating in on-call rotations and developing automated incident response procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker in production environments.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals and scripting languages such as Python or Go.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
