Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to hybrid cloud environments
- Optimize system performance and security through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR drills
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies for strategic implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing cloud infrastructure with AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills through portfolio projects
