Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for microservices architecture
- Implement robust security frameworks (IAM, VPC, encryption protocols)
- Conduct capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure system reliability (SLOs <99.99%)
- Research and implement emerging cloud technologies (serverless, containers)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with 4+ years in cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Proven track record of designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
- Certifications in AWS/GCP or DevOps (e.g., CKAD, Terraform Associate)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and log aggregation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
