Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and resource utilization strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure monitoring
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud-native application performance
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP environments
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and serverless architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation tools
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional/GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Knowledge of network security, IAM, and zero-trust architectures
- Proven track record of managing cloud budgets exceeding $500K annually
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
