Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous analysis and resource rightsizing.
- Lead migration initiatives from on-premises environments to hybrid cloud architectures.
- Enhance observability by architecting robust monitoring and alerting pipelines.
- Collaborate with development squads to streamline CI/CD workflows and automated deployment.
- Establish security best practices across all cloud environments to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expertise in managing large-scale production environments in AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid foundation in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues in distributed systems.
