Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive automation initiatives using Terraform and Ansible to scale operations efficiently.
- Lead incident response efforts and implement proactive monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous resource management and architectural improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture and disaster recovery protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or site reliability engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or GCP platforms.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of cross-functional team collaboration.
