Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment velocity and system reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive performance analysis and capacity planning for global data centers.
- Lead incident response protocols and conduct comprehensive post-mortem analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to design cloud-native architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in system security and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS (EKS, RDS, Lambda) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Strong development skills in Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, SSL).
- Proven experience managing high-traffic distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile setting.
