Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Lead Kubernetes cluster management including deployment, scaling, and security hardening
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and implement proactive alerting
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement zero-trust security frameworks
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and automation techniques
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 4+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation
- Deep knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Certifications (AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator)
- Proven ability to lead complex migration projects from on-premises to cloud
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in incident response
