We're seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable AWS/GCP environments supporting 10M+ users. This hybrid role combines deep technical expertise with strategic impact in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Our engineers work with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, and serverless architectures. You'll collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS/GCP services (EC2, S3, Lambda, GCP Compute Engine)
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime across multi-region deployments
- Lead migration projects from legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, VPC design, and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP certification required)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
