Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional security teams to ensure all systems meet FedRAMP and NIST compliance standards.
- Develop robust monitoring and alerting frameworks to proactively manage system performance and capacity.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives, refactoring legacy on-premise applications for modern containerized architectures.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and administration.
- Expertise in container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Proven track record of working within highly regulated environments (e.g., Public Sector, Finance, Healthcare).
- Active US Government security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
