Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the migration of legacy monolithic applications to containerized microservices via Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with SRE teams to define and monitor service level objectives (SLOs) and error budgets.
- Optimize cloud consumption and infrastructure costs without compromising system performance.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, secure deployment cycles.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide deep-dive technical support for major incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, BigQuery, IAM).
- Deep experience with Kubernetes orchestration and containerization (Docker).
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed system failures under pressure.
