Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-scale, multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS/GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, focusing on latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production systems.
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native best practices and distributed system design.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust architecture standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing production-grade cloud environments.
- Expert proficiency in AWS or GCP services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS).
- Strong background in Linux internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), and security.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service meshes.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
