Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS/GCP/Azure multi-cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Design resilient CI/CD pipelines for containerized microservices (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM policies, network segmentation, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and resource automation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews for infrastructure-as-code repositories
- Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus/Grafana for real-time system observability
- Document architectural decisions and create runbooks for incident response
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure) with professional certifications
- Proficiency in at least two IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible)
- Strong background in Kubernetes orchestration and service mesh technologies
- Experience with infrastructure security frameworks and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical cloud architectures
- Track record of leading cloud migrations with zero data loss incidents
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
