Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment cycles.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Drive security initiatives, including automated vulnerability scanning and secret management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to foster a culture of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Mentor junior team members and conduct rigorous peer code reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles managing cloud-native environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Deep experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container runtimes (Docker/Containerd).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Solid understanding of network security, IAM, and compliance standards (SOC2/GDPR).
