Responsibilities
- Architect, manage, and scale high-availability production infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate release velocity.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to ensure immutable deployments.
- Lead security-first initiatives, including secret management, encryption, and compliance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to debug performance bottlenecks in microservices architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of our site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
- Manage cloud spend optimization through strategic resource monitoring and rightsizing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles within a cloud-native environment.
- Expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in an on-call rotation.
