Are you ready to architect the backbone of next-generation cloud infrastructure? NexusScale Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead our scaling efforts in the heart of San Francisco. In this role, you will define the standards for reliability, performance, and security across our multi-cloud environment, driving innovation in CI/CD automation and container orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Lead the migration and optimization of microservices architectures.
- Design robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and code quality.
- Implement proactive monitoring and observability solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Drive security-first practices (DevSecOps) across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform (IaC).
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/GCP services and networking protocols.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud security standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
