Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and increase release velocity.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure environment consistency.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes to maximize system uptime.
- Optimize cloud costs through granular resource monitoring and intelligent auto-scaling policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software development teams to integrate security and observability best practices early in the SDLC.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion a culture of continuous improvement and technical rigor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles within a high-traffic production environment.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC) and networking fundamentals.
- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
- Solid programming experience in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration and service mesh technologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
