Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
- Lead initiatives to enhance security posture through automated compliance and vulnerability scanning.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure 99.99% system availability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Deep hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
