Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery cycles.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security, utilizing observability tools like Datadog and Prometheus.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct blameless post-mortems to improve system resilience.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on DevOps best practices and cloud-native design patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to optimize cloud cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) or GCP.
- Deep experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Demonstrated expertise in GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and IAM policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
