Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for containerized applications
- Automate monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through architecture reviews and resource tuning
- Implement zero-trust security models and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) with relevant certifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and configuration management (Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Understanding of network security, IAM policies, and compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
