NexusScale Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to spearhead our transition to a fully automated, multi-cloud environment. You will be instrumental in optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, enhancing system reliability, and driving infrastructure-as-code initiatives that power our global operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity while maintaining security standards.
- Lead migration efforts to containerized environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE role within a high-traffic environment.
- Deep expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services, including VPC, IAM, Lambda, and EKS/GKE.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Experience with observability stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
