Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles and improve deployment reliability.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi to maintain environment consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the build process.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem procedures to maximize system uptime.
- Drive the adoption of containerization (Kubernetes) and service mesh technologies across the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP cloud services and managed Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security protocols (TLS, IAM, Firewalls).
- Proven ability to script and automate workflows using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset toward troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
