Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust clinical data collection systems compliant with HIPAA and FDA regulations
- Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets using SQL, R, and Python to identify trends and correlations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for clinical stakeholders and executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into evidence-based clinical recommendations
- Validate data integrity and troubleshoot anomalies in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Present complex analytical findings to multidisciplinary audiences through compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience analyzing clinical/healthcare data with proven impact on patient outcomes
- Expert proficiency in SQL, R, and Python with experience in healthcare data modeling
- Certification in Clinical Data Management (CCDM) or Health Information Technology (CHIA) preferred
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and clinical trial data management
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to bridge technical and clinical domains
