Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including MRT expansions, coastal protection systems, and sustainable urban drainage networks
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAP2000) ensuring compliance with Singapore's Building Control Act and MOM regulations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers to deliver integrated solutions
- Develop innovative construction methodologies incorporating BIM (Revit) and digital twin technologies for enhanced project efficiency
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and risk evaluations for challenging urban environments
- Manage project budgets exceeding $50M while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards and sustainability targets
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing sessions within the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with Singapore's Board of Engineers or equivalent international certification
- Proven expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects with demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering and structural design
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM modeling, and finite element analysis software
- Deep understanding of Singapore's regulatory framework including BCDA, PUB, and LTA standards
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent project delivery experience
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in complex urban construction challenges
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin for stakeholder engagement
