Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from conceptual design to final construction.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and analyze topographical data to develop optimal engineering solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and quality.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience of 5+ years in civil engineering, preferably in the New York metropolitan area.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, soil mechanics, and structural dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
