Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with local municipal authorities, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Direct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings, specifications, and project budgets.
- Implement advanced modeling tools to optimize hydraulic, structural, and site development designs.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater management modeling software.
- Strong background in site grading, utility design, and roadway infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and public presentations.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets and multidisciplinary design teams.
