Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage, and water systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility and planning through construction administration and closeout.
- Conduct detailed technical site assessments and provide expert recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants.
- Ensure all engineering designs adhere strictly to local, state, and federal regulatory codes.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and oversee quality control for technical documentation.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil site development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of local zoning laws and environmental permitting processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and technical briefings.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar infrastructure budgets.
