Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, construction documents, and cost estimates for client review.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and surveyors, to ensure project cohesion.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, utilizing advanced project management methodologies.
- Ensure all engineering solutions adhere to environmental standards and safety codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and FEMA floodplain regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
