Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies for new developments
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
- Research and implement sustainable materials and construction methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's or PE license preferred
- 8+ years progressive experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects
- Deep knowledge of Houston-area construction regulations and permitting processes
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing multidisciplinary teams
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainable design credentials
