Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications while ensuring compliance with TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct site inspections to enforce quality control standards
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and BIM modeling technologies
- Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $10M
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
