Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, structural)
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling, structural analysis, and geotechnical assessments
- Manage project lifecycle from concept to completion, ensuring budget adherence and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
- Develop detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Integrate sustainable design principles and emerging technologies (BIM, GIS)
- Ensure adherence to TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in Auto Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards, FEMA regulations, and local permitting
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
