Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Ensure adherence to sustainable design practices and LEED certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and hydraulic analysis software
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation or structural engineering disciplines
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of $10M+ projects
- Familiarity with Houston municipal permitting processes and TxDOT standards
- Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience
