Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with attending cardiologists.
- Perform bedside procedures including arterial line placement and central venous catheter management.
- Educate patients and their families regarding heart disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Interpret complex EKG and telemetry data to guide clinical decision-making.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient care pathways and outcomes.
- Maintain precise electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Board certification as an ACNP or FNP with a strong emphasis on cardiology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care or cardiovascular setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; CCRN or CVN preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure clinical environments.
