The Opportunity
We seek a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our West Coast market penetration strategy. This pivotal role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to unlock new revenue streams and build high-value alliances.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new enterprise clients through strategic market research and competitive analysis
- Develop and execute scalable growth strategies targeting key industry verticals
- Lead complex B2B negotiations and contract finalizations with C-suite executives
- Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with Fortune 500 companies
- Analyze market trends to identify product-market fit opportunities and expansion pathways
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align BD initiatives with company objectives
- Track KPIs including pipeline generation, conversion rates, and ROI
Qualifications
- 8+ years in B2B business development with SaaS/tech focus
- Proven track record of exceeding $5M+ annual revenue targets
- Expertise in enterprise sales cycles and value-based selling methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and sales intelligence tools
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience building partnerships in San Francisco Bay Area ecosystem
