We are seeking a visionary Senior Backend Engineer to join our elite engineering team at Crave Logistics. We are redefining the urban dining experience through our proprietary AI-driven food delivery platform. In this role, you will architect robust, scalable APIs that serve millions of transactions daily, ensuring seamless order fulfillment from kitchen to doorstep.
As a key technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and optimize our microservices infrastructure to handle peak demand during high-traffic events.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Python and Go.
- Optimize database schemas and query performance to support real-time order tracking.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to define API contracts.
- Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing, CI/CD implementation, and load balancing strategies.
- Mentor engineering talent and conduct technical code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Work on cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and AWS.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in high-scale fintech or logistics.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
