Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture to support millions of daily orders.
- Optimize database performance and data integrity for real-time inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party food APIs (e.g., OpenTable, GrubHub).
- Ensure system reliability, security, and disaster recovery protocols are strictly maintained.
- Conduct deep code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and technical architecture reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development.
- Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Deep knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or E-commerce sector is highly preferred.
