Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for high-profile architectural projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, ADA standards, and LEED requirements
- Develop creative design solutions balancing aesthetic vision with technical feasibility
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders using advanced visualization tools
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior designers and foster collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- NYS Architect License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio of built projects in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and systems
- Experience with NYC DOB filing processes and permitting
- Demonstrated leadership in sustainable design practices
